a beautifully smooth canadian whiskey. picked it up on a whim wanting to try something new tonight and i’m not disappointed. sweet caramel + vanilla nose, almost a “fresh bakery” to it without heavy alcoholic scent. really smooth body with flavors of maplewood, orange, and spice. solid finish with prominent cedar, grain, and fruit. MSRP $25-30, really amazing for the price considering you’d be lucky to get something this good for twice that. beats out regular Crown Royal as my go-to whiskey, but doesn’t quite edge out Crown Black or some of my favorite single malt scotches.
